The Mortgage Bankers Association of Louisville hosts a monthly luncheon for members to get together, share a meal and information, and network with other real estate finance professionals. The luncheons are held on the second Wednesday of each month, unless otherwise specified.

  Dan Jones, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
  After parallel careers in management and teaching, Dan Jones decided to pursue his lifelong passion and founded 21st Century Parks, Inc. 21st Century Parks is a non-profit corporation managing a private/public partnership to develop The Fork, a 4000-5000 acre park and trail system in the last major undeveloped corridor surrounding Louisville, Kentucky.
  
  Dan Jones' enthusiasm for parks began at an early age. As a native of Louisville, Kentucky, he grew up near Cherokee Park, one of the green space masterpieces designed in the late 19th Century by the father of American landscape architecture, Frederick Law Olmsted.
  
  Dan Jones started 21st Century Parks because he believes what Olmsted did for Louisville can be done again at The Fork. As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of 21st Century Parks, Jones oversees the planning, design and construction of this new parks project.
  
  His concept of a user-friendly neighborhood park for the 21st Century can be experienced at Louisville's 80-acre Thurman Hutchins Park on River Road. Jones is proud to have managed the planning, design and construction of that park which opened to the public in 2000.
  
  Jones holds a B.A. in East Asian Languages and Literature (1984) and a Master in Forestry (2006) from Yale University, as well as a Ph.D. in American and World History from Indiana University, Bloomington (1997). Jones served as an officer in the U.S. Naval Reserves (1985-1988) and speaks both Mandarin Chinese and German.
